Education is an important part of the lives of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Prophets have encouraged us to seek not only for spiritual knowledge, but to gain secular knowledge as well. 

Back to school time is just around the corner, so here are some great scriptures and quotes to motivate and remind you how important and fun learning can be!

And as all have not faith, seek ye diligently and teach one another words of wisdom; yea, seek ye out of the best books words of wisdom; seek learning, even by study and also by faith. – D&C 88:118

In the Church, obtaining an education and getting knowledge are a religious responsibility. We educate our minds so that one day we can render service of worth to somebody else. – Russell M. Nelson
